VR Simulation for Industrial Safety Training
A virtual reality training simulation that lets trainees safely experience hazardous work environments and measures training performance.
The problem we faced
Dangerous scenarios couldn't be trained hands-on in the real environment, and classroom training didn't lead to lasting learning.
SolutionThe approach we developed
We created a 3D model of the factory and turned occupational safety scenarios into VR training modules. Participants go through steps for recognizing risks, choosing the right equipment and applying emergency procedures. The result of each session is measured and reported to the trainer.

About this project
What problem did this project solve?
Dangerous scenarios couldn't be trained hands-on in the real environment, and classroom training didn't lead to lasting learning. A virtual reality training simulation that lets trainees safely experience hazardous work environments and measures training performance.
Which technologies and methods were used in the project?
The project used technologies and methods such as Game engine, 3D modeling, Standalone VR headset, Training dashboard, Data analytics. The technology choice was based on the project's requirements and the existing systems.
How long did the project take and what were the results?
The project took about 5 months. Key results: Knowledge retention (example): +%40; Training time: −%30; Real risk: 0. Results are measured by comparing indicators before and after the project.
Does a VR / AR application require special hardware?
AR usually runs on a phone or tablet. For VR, the hardware is chosen based on the target headset; we recommend the simplest option that fits the need.
Can you use our existing 3D models?
Yes. We can adapt and optimize your existing CAD/3D models for the application.
