Our process
A transparent process in 6 steps from analysis to launch
In every project we define a clear goal, an actionable strategy and a trackable result.
Process
How does your project progress?
- 01
Free initial consultation
We listen to your needs, goals and expectations and openly discuss the right approach and possible risks. We don't take on work we don't think is a good fit.
Deliverable: Meeting notes - 02
Analysis and scope
The current situation, data and processes are analyzed with scientific method; the scope is put in writing with user stories and acceptance criteria.
Deliverable: Scope document - 03
Quote and planning
A clear scope, timeline, budget and phased delivery plan are presented; risks and assumptions are stated transparently.
Deliverable: Quote and project plan - 04
Design and development
Development is done in phases, with a demo and feedback round at each phase. Change requests are managed within scope control.
Deliverable: Working interim releases - 05
Testing and launch
Functional, performance and security tests are carried out; go-live, user training and documentation are completed.
Deliverable: Live system and documentation - 06
Support and growth
Ongoing support is provided for maintenance, monitoring and new needs; results are evaluated against the goals.
Deliverable: Maintenance plan and report
Management principles
Habits that make the process reliable
Single point of contact
Your project has a responsible project manager; you always know who has the answers.
Steady rhythm
Weekly/biweekly progress reports and demo meetings.
Clarity in writing
Scope, changes and decisions are documented in writing.
Early warning
We share risks and deviations early, not late.
Knowledge transfer
Documentation and training keep the knowledge with you.
Measurement
We evaluate success against indicators defined in advance.
Why the scientific method?
The scientific method turns assumptions into measurements. Thanks to the cycle of analysis, goal, prototype and measurement, we spot risks early and make budget and schedule more predictable. Phased delivery puts critical features into use quickly, and feedback at each stage ensures that the final product meets the real need.
This approach isn't limited to software projects: we apply the same discipline to R&D, digital transformation and consulting projects. See the services page for all our services.
FAQ
About the process
Will we work with one responsible person on the project?
Yes. Each project is assigned a project manager who is your single point of contact. This person also arranges meetings with the relevant experts for your technical questions.
How can we see the project's progress?
You follow the process transparently through regular progress reports, demo meetings and a shared project tracking tool. With every delivery, a working version and a summary of the work done are shared.
What happens if the scope changes during the process?
Change requests are evaluated in writing, their time and budget impact is shared, and if approved they are added to the plan. Scope control is the foundation for finishing the project on time and on budget.
How is testing carried out?
Functional tests are carried out at every stage; before go-live we run acceptance tests together and record any defects. Performance and security tests are added depending on the project.
Will there be downtime during go-live?
The transition plan is prepared to minimize downtime. Where possible, the new system runs in parallel, and a rollback plan is always ready.
Are training and documentation provided?
Yes. User training, guides and technical documentation are part of the delivery. That way the knowledge stays in your organization and new employees adapt to the system quickly.
How are project duration and budget planned?
After the analysis, we share the scope, timeline and budget in writing and propose a phased delivery plan.
How are we kept informed during the project?
We run the process transparently with regular progress reports, demo meetings and an open task board.
Does support continue after delivery?
Yes; we offer support plans for maintenance, updates and development.
What are your testing and quality assurance processes?
Functional, integration and performance tests are carried out, along with user acceptance tests. Automated tests are prepared for critical flows. Test results are shared with every delivery.
Do you sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)?
Yes. At your request, we sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before project information is shared. Team members involved in the project are also bound by confidentiality.
Do you use Agile or waterfall in software projects?
In most projects we use a phased, iterative approach with demos and feedback in short cycles. For work with a clear, fixed scope, a more planned flow can also be used. The method is chosen based on the nature of the project.
