The right funding program has to meet the right project idea
In Türkiye there are many funding mechanisms for R&D and innovation projects under TÜBİTAK, KOSGEB, the Ministry of Industry and Technology, development agencies and international programs. Each program has a different target group, scope and application procedure, so choosing the right program is as important as the application itself.

About funding programs
Does my company need to be a certain size to apply for funding programs?
It varies by program. Some programs target SMEs, others large companies or entrepreneurs. Eligibility is assessed according to the conditions of the relevant call.
Can I apply to more than one program with the same project?
You can't receive double funding for the same cost, but different programs can be considered for different parts or stages of a project. Checking the rules is part of the application strategy.
How long does the process take from application to result?
It varies by program and call; the preparation, application, evaluation and contract stages can take months. Current timelines should be followed through the relevant institution's announcements.
Are funding rates and limits fixed?
No; rates and limits may vary by program, company size and periodic regulations. The information on these pages is a general framework; the current call text should be used for the exact conditions.
If the project isn't approved, is our work wasted?
No. The idea development, feasibility and documentation work done during preparation retains its value when applying to another program or advancing the project with your own resources.
Which projects are more likely to receive funding?
Projects that are innovative, involve technical risk, have high commercialization potential and a competent team are stronger. However, evaluation is at the discretion of the relevant institution; no guarantee can be given.
Do you guarantee that a funding application will be approved?

What's the difference between an R&D project and a software project?
A software project aims to meet a need with known methods. An R&D project involves technical uncertainty and innovation; its outcome is not certain in advance and it requires research and experimentation. If a project meets these criteria, it may be eligible for R&D funding.
